How to use Facebook Ads effectively
Most people who have anything to do with on-line advertising are aware of Google Adwords. They may or may not be aware of how much they cost to run, unless you use some very clever and low-priced keywords.
And whilst I prefer to optimise a site to make it rank better, sometimes a client has already paid a 5-figure some to someone else to create a nifty website in flash, that is pretty much useless from an SEO point of view. In this case, they are prepared to spend several hundred Euros each month on Adwords in order to make something out of their first investment.
But sometime last year I started looking into Facebook ads as an alternative, and if you have a very specific niche then they can not only be more effective for you, they can be cheaper as well.
