The Project is Open for Applications

As you know, Mike and I have been hard at work on what we believe to be one of the most exciting projects we’ve ever done.

We’re excited not only because we have a chance to work closely with a small group of dedicated bloggers and business builders, but because we’re also going to get the chance to correct some of the wrongs done to you by other “similar” projects.

We’ve grown tired of cookie cutter systems that don’t help anyone…having gone through the growing pains of blogging ourselves, we’ve learned firsthand that many of the obstacles facing bloggers can’t be overcome with cookie cutter solutions and more often than not…require the aid of an outside perspective to overcome.

So, what we’ve decided to do is open up a membership community called the Beyond Blogging Project, where we’ll be working very closely with 50 of you.

Yes, there is an application process, but it’s to your benefit because it allows us to make sure that everyone in the project both wants to be there and is willing to participate.

So, as of today, March 5th 2010, we’re opening up for applications.

Unlike other programs, we aren’t just saying we’re taking 50 so that we can re-open the project in a few weeks. Although we’ll create a waiting list for future applicants, we’re not going to use fake scarcity here.

In fact, if we have to take less than 50, we’ll do so. We just want to make sure that we’ve selected the best participants we can find.

To answer your questions about the project, I’ve linked to a PDF that explains all of the details.

On the final pages, you’ll see a link to the application page, where you’ll also find a video in which I explain our goals and intentions.

All we ask is that before applying, you make sure this is something that you can commit to.

That being said, if you’d like to apply for consideration into the Beyond Blogging Project, simply read the attached PDF, click through to watch the video, and then fill out the online copy.

If you don’t have a copy of Beyond Blogging but would still like to be part of the project, reply to this post in the comments and we’ll get you a link you can use to buy the print version.
